In memory of the once-in-a-lifetime pro wrestler Mitsuharu Misawa, star fighters from each promotion joined one after another. The main event of the Budokan event featured the final partner, Shiozaki, and the final opponent, Saito, battling for GHC Heavyweight. For the main event in Osaka, Kawada stepped into the ring for the first time since the Tokyo Dome event in July 2005. The two tournaments, which marked the start of NOAH's new chapter, are all included on two DVDs, with all eight uncut matches.
