Kintaro Ohki, translated by Masaki Tachikawa / Published in 2006 (46 format)
Single (softcover) Kodansha / Antonio Inoki recommended! " My debut opponent was Mr. Oki. Mr. Oki's headbutt was truly painful." In the 1960s, during Japan's rapid economic development, pro wrestler Kintaro Oki took the world by storm with his powerful "atomic bomb headbutt." Born in South Korea, he first landed in Japan on a stowaway ship. He apprenticed under Rikidozan, who was a superstar at the time, and, despite tough training and ethnic discrimination, became a leader in Pro Wrestling throughout Japan. He was loved by fans. In later years, he returned to Korea and continued his career, but quietly passed away in 2006. Legendary wrestler Kintaro Oki, known as Kim Il, reflects on the turbulent days from his birth to his later years in a moving autobiography.
