Masanobu Fuchi, who later reigned as the 'absolute world junior champion' of All Japan Pro Wrestling, fighters crossed the sea with Atsushi Onita fighters in his youth, Massa edge was causing a huge stir at CWA and AWA in Memphis, Tennessee. At the time, the tag team with Atsushi Onita fighters enjoyed tremendous heel popularity locally, winning championships (such as the AWA Southern Tag Team Championship) multiple times against renowned contenders. This is exactly the kind of tights actually worn during the brilliant era of 1981–1983, which can be considered the foremost example of successful overseas training in Japan's Pro Wrestling scene.
