Kazuki Kajiwara / Published 1998 (Shiroku size)

Hardback Nikkan Sports Publishing / Immediately after the war, Mas Oyama (Masutatsu Oyama) , a survivor of the Kamikaze Special Attack Corps, was recognized for KARATE's skills and made a living as a bodyguard for the yakuza. Although he lived a wealthy life, he felt a sense of unfulfillment due to the emptiness of having lost his place to die.

At that time, Oyama was shocked when he read Eiji Yoshikawa's novel 'Miyamoto Musashi' at a used bookstore.

Wanting to live like Musashi and master the path of martial arts, Oyama defies his younger brother's attempts to persuade him to retreat into the mountains to train in KARATE.
