After successfully defending his title for the fifth time, Kobashi declared permanent rule. At GHC Junior, Sugiura successfully defended his title for the first time, defeating New Japan's GEDO. Additionally, in the GHC Junior Tag Team, the champion Marufuji and KENTA defeated challengers Marvin and Guerrera to successfully defend their title for the second time. A memorial DVD from the November 1st Nippon Budokan event that also includes the WLW World Heavyweight fighters title match, where Morishima successfully defended his title for the first time!!
