Kinbei Sato / Published 1977 (Shiroku size)
Singles (softcover) Ailongdo / Previously presented three works: Tai Chi, Shaolin Quan, and Xingyiquan. Fortunately, all three books were well received.
In response to the requests of readers, I decided to introduce Baguazhang, one of the remaining four major schools of Chinese martial arts.
To those unfamiliar with Baguazhang, it may look like a dance, but in reality, it is a rational and simplified palm technique that removes all unnecessary elements. Although there are only eight basic techniques, they contain exceptional philosophy and technique.
The book explains the 'Authentic Baguazhang' that the author mastered in 1958. To make it easy for beginners learning Chinese kempo, I explained it with complete broken photos. Similarly, not only the basic shape but also the actual usage is explained with broken photos.
I hope this book can be of some help as a reference for those aspiring to master Baguazhang, and as a textbook for self-learners. (From 'Hashimeni')
